Making Floral Greener: Sustainable Floral Packaging Innovations Showcased at IFPA Webinar

Sustainability is a top priority for the global floral supply chain, and packaging is a key area of focus within that effort. International Fresh Produce Association will feature sustainable packaging solutions at its webinar: What’s Up Your Sleeve? an IFPA Floral Sustainable Packing Solutions Webinar, July 25 at 2 PM Eastern, 11 AM Pacific.  

 “During this free webinar, we’ll delve into social, economic, and environmental opportunities through sustainable floral packaging,” said Tamara Muruetagoiena, IFPA’s sustainability director and webinar moderator. “Packaging experts will join us to simplify sustainability so participants can make their companies sustainability leaders and make the world a greener place.”  

 This lightning learning, fast-paced showcase webinar features companies that offer new and innovative sustainable packaging solutions to enhance floral marketers’ sustainable offerings. 

 “At IFPA, our goal is to guide produce and floral members to a deeper understanding of the benefits and opportunities of sustainable actions,” Muruetagoiena said. “The floral industry is making great strides in sustainability, and we want to bring thought leadership and innovation to them so they can take their efforts to an even higher level.” 

 Research shows consumers value sustainable products and packaging. “Floral marketers can capitalize on that by telling consumers their sustainability stories and working with supply chain partners to further enhance their sustainable packaging programs.”
